Will the Rocks Cry Out?

He came near the Mountain,
They laid down their robes.
Blessed is the king who comes
Glory in the highest!
With loud voices they praised.

Your disciples, Rebuke them!
The skeptics they warned.
This Hosanna must stop,
so quiet them now.

He told them his answer.
If my people are silent,
you’ll still hear a shout.
If that were to happen,
the rocks will cry out.

There’s still Jesus’ message
And that must be told.
The nations will hear.
It’s us who should tell it.
The time’s drawing near.

Yes, the Rocks could still cry out.
But why should rocks tell?
They must hear the message.
But for us it’s his will.
