Sharp Top Trail Photo Essay

Our family set out to trek to Sharp Top Peak, Virginia. We started just on the other side of Abbot Lake.

Lake Abbot

It was a 1.5 mile hike to the summit.

The hike is billed as a “steep and strenuous” hike.

This hike is the most popular of the Peaks of Otter. Our daughter saw some of her Liberty University friends and classmates on the trail.

There is Abbot lake below where we started the trek.

On top we had the view of Otters Peaks  with the Shenandoah Valley and the Allegheny mountains to the west.
